| GDC RS Pura conducts cleanliness drive | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 11: As a part of Clean India Program (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) NSS unit of Govt. Degree College, R.S. Pura carried out cleanliness drive in Community Health Centre, R.S. Pura under the patronage of Principal of the college Prof. Sunil Uppal and supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer. About 30 volunteers participated in the event and cleaned the premises, parking area and waiting area of the health center. They picked the plastic items like wrappers, plastic bottles and polythene. NSS volunteers also interacted with the people present in the health center and educated them about the importance of clean and hygienic surroundings. The work of NSS volunteers was appreciated by the Hospital authorities. The entire program was coordinated by Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur, Department of Botany.
