| Winter camp at GGZSM Degree College concludes | | |  Early Times Report
REASI, Dec 11: NSS unit of Govt General Zorawar Singh Memorial (GGZSM) Degree College Reasi organized a closing ceremony of 10 days winter camp which began on 01.12.2021 and culminated today.
Programme began with lamp lightening ceremony followed by cultural programmes by NSS volunteers. Students presented poems, group and solo songs, group dance and skit.
Vishal Chandan and Priya Lakhnotra compered the programme. Akash spoke on the life of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Supriya presented a hindi poem on women empowerment. Simran Rajput and Diksha presented their views on "Swacch Bharat Abhiyan". Riya Manhas and Gita sang patriotic songs. A group dance was performed by Anusha, Anamika and Sneha. At last, students presented an impressive skit based on Indian Freedom struggle.
Dr. Prem Singh, Head, Dept. of Political Science appreciated the programme presented by NSS Volunteers. He also acknowledged the work done by volunteers during the camp. Prof. Bishan Sharma, NSS Programme officer presented vote of thanks and motivated the students to join NSS and participate in nation building activities. More than 100 students attended the event. Dr. Chaman Lal, Dr. Saleem Ahmed, Dr. Anu Sharma, Prof. Gourav Gupta, Prof. Ajay Kumar and others were present in the event.
