| National Lok Adalat settles 577 cases in Ramban | | |

RAMBAN, Dec 11: A six bench Lok Adalat, organised by District Legal Services Authority Ramban, under the guidance of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Haq Nawaz Zargar, settled 577 cases of different nature, here today. A settlement amount of Rs.10426000.00 was awarded in MACT Cases, while Rs 89600.00 was recovered as compounding fine in other cases. Similarly, Rs 751000.00 were awarded in bank recovery cases and Rs 10805500.00 in pre litigation cases. The First bench was presided over by (Principal District and Sessions Judge) Chairman District Legal Services Authority Haq Nawaz Zargar, who was assisted by Additional District & Session Judge Fast Track Court Surinder Singh. The 2nd bench of Lok Adalat was presided over by CJM (Sub Judge) Anjum Ara ,who was assisted by Munsiff JMIC, Arusa Choudhary, and Assistant Labour Commissioner Ramban Angrez Singh.
