Police-Parents of school going students meet held | | | Early Times Report REASI, Dec 11: Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi Shailender Singh held a Parents-Police meeting at Kanskansa village of Reasi to make them aware of the eminent threat of abuse of drugs & keep them engaged in school & education. Drop out from school should not be allowed at any cost. In the meeting held at Govt. Middle School Kanskansa, Parents and Students of different classes participated along with prominents of the village & public representatives participated. On the occasion speakers expressed about the difficulties faced by them while educating their childrens especially regarding online tutoring during the lock down period. In the meeting discussion was held on various reasons of to check drop out children from school. Women present on the occasion expressed concern & also marked out causes of drug abuse among the children and requested for sports activities in their village. After a brainstorming session on various points Shailender spoke about the importance of education for the society and role of parents for educating their children. He further stressed that "Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used for the change in a Society" and crime can also be controlled by educating the children which is prerequisite for the betterment of society in general and for the future in particular. SSP interacted with the children also and asked them for keeping their dreams alive in their eyes and put consistent efforts to achieve them. |
