| JK eCOP Mobile App launched | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 11: Jammu and Kashmir Police has developed JK eCOP an android based Citizen Centric Mobile Application to bring Jammu and Kashmir Police one step closer to the people. The App has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the public as well as the smooth functioning of the Police department.
This App is user friendly and easy to adopt. The App caters to the most of police related service interface to the general public on a single platform/touch. This app will help the Police Department to improve the relationship with general public. The App was launched by Hon'ble Lt. Governor J&K during an event held at Raj Bhawan Srinagar on 20th October 2021. The salient features of the App are included all police related service interfaced to the general public on a single touch, provides Geo Location and contact numbers of all Police Stations and Police Control Rooms to the public, provides all important Emergency helpline numbers, public can share pictures of traffic accidents, traffic violations with their latitude and longitude to Police, locate Police Stations on map, one Touch Panic Alert generation, lodge complaints, inform Police and Report Crime, view and Pay Challan online, report use and sale of drugs and narcotics, citizen service like tenant/employee verification, character certificates, view / download copy of FIR, vehicle theft and recovery information besides view highway status. |
