Amit shares e-Gov perspectives with students of Presentation Convent School Jammu | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 11: Amit Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, J&K e-Governance Agency today enlightened students of Presentation Convent School Jammu about the e-Governance subject through virtual mode as a guest speaker. This guest lecture was organized by the administration of Presentation Convent School to create awareness about important subject of e-Governance amongst the higher classes students wherein shared various successful contemporary models like Passport Seva Kendra (PSK), Domicile Certificate, e-Office implementation in J&K, automated services of ticketing, Covid App, DBT, Aadhaar Enablement of citizens and similar other e-Governance initiatives as on date. Sharma shared ideas while motivating students to develop careers in this domain as e-governance experts wherein they can contribute immensely towards bringing transparency, swiftness and deliverance while provisioning Government services to the public in the present era wherein subjects like Artificial Intelligence, Drone Technology, MPLS Connectivity, etc hold a great future. He mentioned that the basic premise of all smart Ccty projects being implemented across the length and breadth of the nation including Jammu and Srinagar smart city projects have inherent tools of e-governance and even Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has been running various courses and trainings to develop specialists in e-governance domain through various IIMs, NISG, etc like the one which CEO JaKeGA had undergone at IIM Indore almost a decade ago. |
