SAMBA, Dec 11: Managing Committee Meeting of the Dogra College of Education was held under the chairmanship of Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman DET, in the Conference Hall of Dogra Educational Complex, Bari Brahmana. The Chairman of the Trust welcomed all the members in the meeting and appreciated the efforts of University of Jammu in achieving heights.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Rajni Kant, Director Colleges Development Council, University of Jammu, Prof. Seema Langar, Dean faculty of Life Science, University of Jammu, Prof. Suresh Sharma, Principal Govt. Degree College, Ghagwal, Brig. (Retd.) M.S Jamwal, Kr. Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Advocate, Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, DET, Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal DCE, Indu Puri, Sr. Lecturer, DCE.
The staff of the Dogra College of Education has conducted various programmes to hone their professional skills, was explained by the respective Principal. All the members were apprised by the Principal of the College about the innovative activities ventured upon by the staff and students to realize the goals and objectives of the course being pursued in the Dogra College of Education, Director CDC was highly appreciative of the performance of the Dogra College of Education in all spheres and congratulated one and all for excellent results.
14th Volume of college magazine ‘Shikshak’ was released by the members of the managing Committee in this meeting. The members appreciated the efforts of the Principal and the staff of Dogra College of Education for publishing Magazine ‘Shikshak’ of the College. The meeting concluded with the vote of thanks to all the members of Management by the Principal.
Members appreciated Dogra Group of Colleges for announcing full fee concession for those Covid-19 orphans/victims who have lost their parents to Covid pandemic and have no source of income to pursue their higher education for the academic session 2021-23.
Trust has decided to keep two seats each in BA LLB 5 year course and LLB 3 year (Prof) course in Dogra Law College, two seats in B.Ed. course in Dogra College of Education and one seat each in BBA course, B Com course and BA course in Dogra Degree College. Thus 9 seats across 6 courses have been allotted for free ship.
Apart from these concessions, other facilities will be provided to such students including study and reading material from the College free of cost viz book bank facility of college libraries and a set of two uniforms free Hostel and Mess facility for out station students fulfilling the criterion of concessions.
