JAMMU, Dec 23: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor Pritam Singh and Executive Member cooperative JK UT inaugurated drain work Shanti Nagar Kunjwani in Ward 55 at the cost of Rs 15 lakhs. Speaking on the occasion, Councillor Pritam Singh appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with Jammu Municipal Corporation in various development works undertaken by it in Jammu city.
He urged upon the residents to avoid using single use plastics and polythene in their routine work and asked them not to throw debris, garbage, filth in the drains.
Pritam Singh also urged the public to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and beautiful city.
Local residents including Onkar Singh Jamwal, Rohan Gupta, Manjeet Singh, Sukh Ram, Ram Dass Gorka, Surjeet Sharma, Yashpal and Rohit were also present. |
