JAMMU, Dec 23: In continuation with earlier programmes, community mobilization was held in Govt MS Majheen, Zone Gandhi Nagar today.
Large number of local people which includes Sarpanch, Panch, VEC members was present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, Veena Tickoo, Zonal Education Officer, Gandhi Nagar appealed to the members to send their wards in Govt. Schools.
She also mentioned about different facilities being provided to school going children like Mid-Day-Meals, free text books, uniforms, various kind of scholarship, Atal Labs, Modern Class Rooms etc. She appealed to the public to avail maximum benefit of the Govt. Schemes for school going children.
Earlier such progammes were held in various school of Gandhi Nagar Zone on 14th, 16th and 18th of Dec 2021 in which Chief Education Officer, Jammu Suraj Singh Rathore also threw light about various facilities being provided to school going children.
Shiv Dayal, ex-Naib Sarpanch, Darshna Devi Sarpanch Panchayat Pargalta also spoke on the occasion and congratulated Education Department for organizing such awareness programmes. |
