| GDC Khour inaugurates Gen. Bipin Rawat Block | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 31: GDC Khour while paying rich tributes to General Bipin Rawat has inaugurated a block in his memory. It was inaugurated by the Principal of the college Dr Rama Badyal and Vice-Chairman District Development Committee, Jammu Shri Suraj Singh, and Block Development Council Shri Bhushan Bral.
Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of the college and NCC cadets were also present in the program. Two minutes of silence was also observed in his honor. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr Badyal highlighted the contribution of the 1st Chief of the Defense Staff General Rawat in the modernization of our armed forces and security apparatus. Shri Suraj Singh Ji recalled the life history of late Gen. Bipin Rawat and advised the Cadets to follow the spirit of selfless service towards the nation. The entire program was organized under the able guidance of Dr Rama Badyal, Principal GDC Khour by Prof. Arun Sharma, NCC Officer who also gave the final vote of thanks. |
