J&K ERA gives warm send off to Engineers Mansotra & Waheed | | | Early times Report
JAMMU, Dec 31: On attaining the age of superannuation, Director ERA Jammu Ravinder Mansotra and Project Manager Abdul Wahid Khan were given a warm send off by JKERA. Speaking on the occasion, CEO ERA Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah hailed the contribution of retiring officers for having served the organization with utmost honesty and sincerity. CEO ERA lauded the role of departing officers and highlighted the contributions made by them in execution of many key-projects. Mansotra joined government services as Assistant Engineer 1993 and has served in the various positions during his service spanning over 28 years. An Alumni of Regional Engineering College Srinagar, he is Civil Engineering Gold Medalist and has also worked in Tata Motors prior to joining the government services. He was associated with Construction of roads, bridges, hospital buildings, residential multistorey flats ,hostel buildings, Govt. Engineering College Kathua, Govt. Polytechnic College Kathua and Samba, Lakhanpur Toll plaza, Ravi bridge and ICT center at Samba. Khan joined government service as Junior Engineer in 1986 and worked in different districts of Jammu & Kashmir. During his career spanning over 35 years, he served in various capacities as Junior Engineer Irrigation Division Doda, Assistant Engineer, PWD (R&B) division Ramban, Assistant Engineer Floriculture Department Srinagar and special sub division Mahore, Assistant Executive Engineer, special sub division Mahore, PWD (R&B) Sub division Doda, Executive Engineer PMGSY Doda, PMGSY Ramban, RDD Budgam, Special Sub Division Vallo. Later in his career as Superintending Engineer he served R&B department and Project Manager Transport ERA. |
