JAMMU, Jan 31: Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged protest at Parade Chowk against Tamil Naidu government on suicide of Class 12 student who died after forced conversion Lavanya. The ABVP condemned the incident and demanded the government to conduct a fair and transparent investigation into this suicide.
ABVP Jammu & Kashmir Secretary Mukesh Manhas said that the suicide of a girl student due to pressure of conversion is heartbreaking. We are in this fight for justice. We stand with the family of the deceased, he said.
