Court rejects bail plea of four Rajasthani who duped more than one crore in cyber fraud | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 12: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu, Kishore Kumar today rejected bail applications of four accused Mousam Khan, Asif Khan, Arish Khan and Munish Khan all of Rajasthan who were arrested by the Cyber Crime Jammu for indulging in organized crime have duped the hard earned money of different people amounting to Rs. 1, 28, 02,000. The Principal Sessions Judge Jammu observed that economic offence constitutes a class apart and need to be visited with a different approach in the matter of bail. The economic offence having deep rooted conspiracies and involving loss of public funds need to be viewed seriously and considered as grave offence affecting the country as a whole and there by posing serious threat to the financial health of the country. Cyber crime is on enormous rise in the country and this court cannot take the risk of duping the innocent people by granting them bail. Crimes like forgery and fraud have been very serious non-bailable offences in India. However in recent times, these offences have become much more worrying as they are been conducted through electronic means, it is therefore, necessary that strict and prompt action be taken against such offences to keep India safe in these times. Keeping in view the totality of the facts and circumstances as stated above, the allegations levelled against the applicants are very heinous in nature and as such does not deserve bail at this stage. With these observations, Court rejected the bail applications. |
