| 'Punjabi Cultural Festival ' Phulkari' organized by Jammu Sanskriti School | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 12: 'Punjabi Cultural Festival ' Phulkari' was organized by the pre-primary wing of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu with gaiety and fervour. As 'Phulkari' depicts the love and bonding between mother and daughter so to celebrate this bond of love in a grandeur way the school pioneered in organizing PHULKARI.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of Anissa Nabi (Chief Guest), Anuradha Jangid & Kanchan Dangi (Guest of Honour), Rohini Aima (Principal Cum Vice- Chairperson), Sunakshi Anand (Member of School Management), coordinators & parents.
The event commenced with traditional lamp lighting ceremony and enchanting of Mool Mantra. Following this, pre-primary co-ordinator Nidhi Kohli addressed the gathering and welcomed the dignitaries followed by bewitching Gidda exhibited by pre-primary toddlers who mesmerized the audience.
Fancy Dress and Bhangra performances in colorful Punjabi attire were carried out. Also, dance competition was organized for the parents that left the audience spellbound. The highlight of the event was the exuberating dance performance by pre-primary teachers who showcased their talent by performing Jago.
The chief guest congratulated and appreciated the incredible show put up by the students. She said the school is really progressing with the focus on overall development of the child. Guests of honour congratulated the staff, students & parents for their hard work & co-ordination to put up this wonderful show during these trying times.
Principal cum vice-chairperson conveyed her gratitude to the guests of prominence for their presence in the event and bestowing their blessings. She congratulated and appreciated the efforts put in by pre-primary wing for making this event a great success.
