| Forest fire along LoC triggers landmine explosions in Poonch | | |

JAMMU, Feb 21: A forest fire reportedly broke out from across the Line of Control triggered landmine explosions in Balnoi area of Krishna Ghati sector in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said that forest fire broke out on the intervening night of Feb 20 and 21 and triggered landmine blasts.
"Nearly one dozen mines have blasted while the blaze was yet to be brought under control," they added. |
