Shiv Sena demands safe evacuation of all Indians trapped in Ukraine war zone | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 2: Amidst tensions between Ukraine and Russia escalating rapidly, J&K Shiv Sena unit sought safe and immediate evacuation of thousands of Indian students stranded in the war-torn country in view of nuclear and looming threat of Third World War. Led by J&K Shiv Sena President Manish Sahni, the party activists assembled outside Shiv Sena Party head office and support of Indians trapped in the war zone of Ukraine with the silent protest. The protesters also held placards displaying slogans "Ghar Aaja Mere Lal", "It's not too late", "Saare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Humara". They appealed Prime Minister for early and safe return of Indians by using diplomatic, political and friendly relations. Talking to reporters, Sahni said that after Ukraine got EU membership, the threat of nuclear and third world war has started looming. The way Russia has detonated non-nuclear bomb on Ukraine, it is clear that at any time the situation can move towards nuclear war and the threat of third world war is visible. He said that around 18 to 20 thousand Indian students are trapped in Ukraine and are living in terror for the past several days taking shelter in bunkers amid the severe cold. He said that the Modi government did not do anything special and Prime Minister is definitely trying to evacuate the Indians to the country when the situation becomes complicated.
