| Shiv Sena appeals LG to reign in pathological labs | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 4: The Jammu & Kashmir unit of Shiv Sena has appealed LG Manoj Sinha to immediately check the fleecing of people by the owners of the private pathological laboratories in Jammu & Kashmir by charging arbitrarily for the various tests conducted by them.
Addressing a press conference, Shiv Sena J&K Unit President, Manish Sahni while expressing deep concern over fleecing of needy patients accused the health department of utter neglect and complicity besides running a nexus with the private pathological laboratories and looting the common people. He said that the concerned department entrusted to keep check on the rates of various commodities and services and penalizing the violators have turned blind eye to the organized loot besides administration remaining a mute spectator to the arbitrary recovery of huge amounts from the ailing people for all the tests including ultrasound, MRI, etc.
