J&K Police solves burglary case, accused held, property recovered | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, May 5: Police in Baramulla solved a burglary case within 24 hours and arrested the accused and recovered the stolen property on Thursday. Police Station Tangmarg received written complaint from Fayaz Ahmad Lone, a resident of Maheen Tangmarg stating therein that during the intervening night of May 2 and 3 his shop was ransacked by some unknown thieves and they took away mobile phones, mobile accessories, laptops worth lakhs. A case under relevant sections was registered in Police Station Tangmarg and investigation initiated for which a a special team was constituted. Police said footage of CCTVs installed in the main market were checked and a lead was generated. Many suspects were called for questioning and one suspect identified as Owais Ahmad Lone a resident of Ferozpora Tangmarg in Baramulla confessed to the crime. The stolen property was recovered from his instance and he was arrested, police added. |
