AKHNOOR, May 4: Inter School Zonal Level tournament organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Akhnoor was marked by series of Football, Badminton & Carrom competitions for U-14 & U-17 Boys and Girls categories today at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Akhnoor under the chairmanship of District Youth Services & Sports Office, Jammu Sukhdev Raj Sharma and overall supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer, Akhnoor Tarsem Singh. The matches were played as per the rules & regulations and the selection of good players for next competitions was made on merit basis. ZPEO Akhnoor encouraged the budding talent with words of apperception and appreciated the field staff for conducting the competitions in the most smooth manner.
Prominent among the others were Ashnak Raj, Ashok Kumar, Ramesh Chandar, Madan Lal, Pritam Lal, Indu Bharti, Sujata Kumari, Sushma Devi, Rita Sharma, Navneet Kour, Jagdev Singh, Vikram Jamwal, Rinku Kumar, Suram Singh, Rahul Dev Singh, Shambu Dutt and Sports teachers cum coaches of private schools of Zone Akhnoor. |
