SAMBA, May 7: Department of Animal Husbandry, Samba today organized an awareness camp at a far flung Village Nichla of Block Ghagwal and disseminated general information on Departmental schemes.
During the progamme, Chairman Block Development Council, Ghagwal, Vijay Tagotra was the Chief Guest, while Sarpanches, Panches and Veterinary doctors were also present. The programme was organised at Panchayat Ratwana, Village Nichla, Surara, Ghagwal.
Informing about the awareness camp, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Dr. Rahul Dev said the local residents were provided information on various departmental schemes including IDDS, IPDP, F&FDP etc. The farmers present were imparted awareness on livestock schemes and encouraged to avail the benefits of KCC and Livestock Insurance. Farmers were apprised about the prophylactic and general management of animals. Free medicines were also distributed among the participants on the occasion. Among others, Dr Faheem Raja, VAS Ghagwal and Dr Varun Sharma also participated in the camp. |
