Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum holds meeting, discusses several issues | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 7: A meeting of the central executive body members of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) was held today under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, Chairman JKTF. The meeting was attended by Surat Singh Toofani, Darshan Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Bharat Bushan Sharma and others. The meeting was also attended by the senior leadership of JKTF from Kashmir through online mode. The central body members from Kashmir who attended online included Mohd Akbar Khan State president, Mohd Shafi Rather, Arslan Habib, Mohd Issac, Farooq Ahmad Sofi, Thokar Bashir and Mohd Akbar Dar. In the meeting several issues were discussed in detail including implementation of Pay Scales at par with the employees of Central Government/ U.T Governments of the country and removal of pay anomaly of master grade from pay level-6E to pay level-8. While addressing the meeting, Ganesh Khajuria urged the LG for the early implementation of Central Pay Scales/ UT Pay Scales in favour of all government employees of UT of J&K as all the employees are being governed under the rules and regulations of Central Government and the UT administration as the erstwhile state of J&K was converted into Union Territory on 5th of August 2019. Khajuria also appealed to implement in true letter and spirit the agreement reached between the Employees Joint Consultative Committee and Government of J&K to remove the pay anomaly of master grade of school education department by placing them in the pay level-8 to bring them at par with their counterparts working in other departments of J&K Government. |
