| MJR47 hails Delimitation Commission for recommending seats for POJK DPs | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 7: MJR-47 has thanked Government of India for the appointment of the Delimitation Commission which afforded us an opportunity to approach the said Commission to provide justice to POJK DPs and the Delimitation Commission for its final report. The organization has said that the Delimitation Commission though failed to give full justice by not interpreting the provision of Section-13, 14 and 60 of the J&K Reorganization Act, 2019 but they are highly grateful to the Commission for appreciating the contentions of our organization and making the present recommendation to government.
The organization said that they are also pursuing the said issue with PMO as well as Home Minister's office and through this medium earnestly request the Prime Minister and Home Minister for allocation of sufficient seats in J&K Assembly and at least one seat in the Parliament to provide justice to POJK DPs. |
