| Dewan Devi School celebrates Green Day, Mother's Day | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 7: Green Day and Mother's Day celebration was held today in the premises of Dewan Devi Playway and Higher Secondary School.
Students of kindergarten had dressed themselves in green costumes.
The Principal and the teachers of the school had also dressed in green attires and looked eco- friendly. The classrooms were beautifully decorated in green and all the green objects from a child's immediate surroundings were brought to the classroom.
To thank the beautiful mothers, students of Dewan Devi Playway/Hr. Sec. School celebrated Mother's Day with great zeal. A cultural programme was presented by the tiny tots.The students of Primary Wing made beautiful cards for their mothers.
Staff and students wished their mothers by writing beautiful quotes and messages on display board. The Principal of the school encouraged the students and advised them to take care of their mothers and advised them to work hard in their life and become worthy sons of the soil.
Later candies and chocolates were distributed among the students. |
