Samba Police foils bovine smuggling bid, rescues 08 bovines | | | Early Times Report
Samba, May 8: District Police Samba successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle bovines by rescuing 08 bovines, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba. A Police Party of PP Rakh Amb Talli while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, noticed some persons near Village Chak Dyala, Samba moving with herd of cattle under suspicious condition. On seeing the Police Party, the suspected persons fled away from the spot leaving behind a herd of 08 cattle which was being smuggled towards Valley by foot. In this connection, a case FIR No. 111/2021 under relevant sections stands registered at PS Samba and investigation started. District Police Samba has launched intensified drive against the bovine smuggling and its propagators on the directions of SSP Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan,IPS. |
