KISHTWAR, May 8: Kishtwar Development Authority, in Collaboration with District Administration, Sports fraternity, locals and other departments today conducted 3rd massive cleanliness drive under “Swachh Chowgan Abhiyan” here at historical Chowgan ground.
The officers of District Administration including District Development Commissioner, Ashok Sharma, Additional District Development Commissioner Sham Lal, CEO KDA InderJeet Parihar, ACD Atul Dutt Sharma, DPO Sunil Bhutyal; CAO S K Bhagat; DYSSO Kharati Lal Sharma; CAHO Dr Sanjay Kumar Sen, besides BDO Drabshalla Sobia Shad, BDO Mughal Maidan Tasleem Wani and officers and officials of other departments prominent persons and locals enthusiastically took part in this drive.
The Chief guest, District Development Commissioner urged the participants to dedicate one hour on every Sunday to save the Chowgan Ground and for keeping their surroundings clean.
He appealed the general public, students to avoid throwing waste material, plastic bottles & polythene in ‘Chowgan Ground.
The volunteers collected the litter, trash and single use plastic from the ground and dumped it into designated Dust bins for further disposal by concerned authorities. |
