JAMMU, May 12: American Oncology Institute (AOI), ASCOMS Hospital Jammu today organized a free cancer screening and awareness camp in association with World Cancer Care. In the cancer screening camp, almost 500 patients were screened and examined by a team of oncology specialists, Dr. Nadeem Shoket (Medical Oncologist) and Dr. Surbhi Kudyar (Breast Cancer Surgery Specialist) from AOI Jammu.
Dr. Neeraj Bishnoi, Regional COO, AOI said, “Besides conducting screening tests at the camp, we wanted to educate and create awareness about early detection in the public. AOI offered free tests and services like Mammography, Bone Densitometry, Pap Smear, PSA, and other lab tests along with free Oncology, Gynaecology, and general consultation at the camp.
