5/14/2022 11:08:53 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, May 13: Amid fear and anger Kashmiri Pandit employees, appointed under the much-publicized Prime Minister's Employment Package, have urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to evacuate them from Kashmir Valley.
These employees Saturday urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to evacuate them to safer places.
“It is to apprise regretfully that we PM package employees under threat compulsion have finally decided that Kashmir is not safe for we people”, employees mentioned in a fresh letter written to Lieutenant Governor.
“It is very unfortunate that being Indian, being Hindu we are being targeted again and again, day in day out we are being assassinated selectively”, employees said.
The letter further mentioned “the package was given to as confidence-building initiative for we people but forget about the confidence we are not able to live here. Administration on daily basis takes responsibility for our lives but we are being killed daily. Kashmiri Pandits are ready to serve anywhere in the world but not in Kashmir due to Jihadist Terrorism”.
The enraged employees urged the Lt Governor to evacuate them safely from Kashmir.
submitted mass resignation against the failure of the government to provide them security.
Earlier all Kashmir Pandit employees living in Sheikhpura camp have submitted their mass resignation. Rahul Bhat, who was killed by the terrorist on Thursday at Chadoora Tehsildar's officer, was living along with his wife and daughter at Sheikhpur camp.
"We have already appealed to all the PM package employees to submit mass resignation because their no security for those serving in different areas,”, some employees told media persons.
They claimed said that within a day or two all PM package employees would submit their resignations because authorities are taking our issues seriously.
They further alleged that employees appointed under the PM package are intentionally deputed in the far-flung areas to make them soft targets.
