Jammu, May 22: National Institute for Skill Development (NISD) organized ‘Appreciation Awards-2022’ to honour the women who had made their mark in their respective fields.
NISD offers training programmes to the women in different fields to make them self-employed and also provide them necessary skills to become entrenapurers.
On the occasion, Mrs Universal India-2022 Season-7 Isha Sharma will be celebrity guest and grace the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjeev Kumar centre Director of NISD said that they are training females in different trades to make them stand on their feet and training programme. or the protection of society, it is currently focusing on human resource development in the areas of drug abuse prevention, welfare of senior citizens and transgenders, beggary prevention, and other social defence issues.
“National Institute of Skill Development is working on the educational sector and vocational training courses with multiple sector courses like IT Sector, Beauty Sector, Electronics Sectors, Apparel Sector, Automobile Sector, and many more”, said Sanjeev Kumar.
He said that a team of educational experts whose focus is not only on training but also on providing placement to all our trained candidates.
Speaking on the occasion celebrity guest, Isha Sharma appreciated the vision of NISD and said that such institutes are important to make India ‘Aatma Nirbar’ and realise the vision of the government to develop a skilled manpower to drive Indian economy.
“I am very impressed by the training programme offered by the centre, especially focusing on the women who are able to earn livelihood and ensure their families get required financial backing”, Sanjeev Kumar said. Ashish Kohli Journalist also grace the event.
