The service condition of paramilitary forces is regulated by a strong set of Acts with the provision to award punishments up to court-material similar to defense forces but unfortunately their pay perks and post retirement benefits including pension as government by central civil service (pension) rules 1972, under which they are being provided the benefits only equal to central government civilian employees. The serving and former members, widows and dependents of the paramilitary forces are being downgraded in front of the their fellow citizen and family members while they are exposed to similar risk pattern as defense forces, he said and demanded One Rank One Pension (OROP) similar to defense forces. Central paramilitary forces performing duties at LOC/IB election duties getting canteen facilities with high rate of SGST and Central GST @28% + 5% special tax was submitted, he said and urged the Union Government to look into the matter and do needful at par with defense forces. The rate of interest on computers in the year upto 2008 was 12:50%, now its rate falls half and our Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman may take the matter and pass instruction to reconsider the new rate of interest.
