SRINAGAR, June 2: An elderly man was crushed to death when he was hit by a train in Anantnag on Thursday, officials said.
A railway official confirming the incident said an unidentified man was hit by train (04474) in between Anantnag-Sadura section near Km 15 at Chodhama area of Mir Bazar in south Kashmir.
The man died on the spot and his identification is being ascertained, he said. |
