| High Court Bar Association, Jammu condemns killing of branch manager | | |

JAMMU, June 2: An emergency meeting was held under the chairmanship of M K Bhardawaj, President, J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu to condemn the killing of Vijay Kumar, branch manager Ellaqui Dehati Bank (EDB) in Kulgam. All the office bearers and young members of the Bar Association participated. The members present in the meeting in strongly condemned the cowardly attack on Vijay and expressed their anguish that despite repeated attacks on minorities in the valley the government /authorities have not learnt any lesson and completely failed to provide appropriate necessary safety and security to its innocent government/employees/citizens. The Association urged the Lieutenant Governor to take stern action against the subversive elements to curb the menace of terrorism to ensure peaceful atmosphere in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir and also to provide security of life to all the employees working in the sensitive areas of Jammu & Kashmir in the national interest. |
