| AMO organises interaction session for progressive farmers at Khaloo, Chinta | | | Early Times Report
DODA, June 4: An awareness camp cum interaction programme was organised by Area Marketing officer (AMO) Doda-Kishtwar, Sunil Singh at village Khaloo and village Chinta of Block Bhaderwah, where Business Head of Reliance Retail Ltd, Avinash Joshi and Regional Head, Vishal Arora interacted with progressive farmers of the area.
The officers educated the farmers about demand of their local produce in markets outside J&K besides informing them of ways to improve quality and quantity of their produce.
The farmers also displayed enthusiasm towards market linkage initiatives. It is pertinent to mention that Khaloo village has been selected under Saansad Aadarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) and its inclusive development is being monitored directly by MP and Union MoS in the PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh. |
