| ACD interacts with PMAY beneficiaries | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, June 4: Assistant Commissioner Development Doda, Phulail Singh today held an interaction cum awareness programme at Block Headquarter Bhagwah. He was accompanied by BDO Bhagwah, Shabir Ahmed and staff of the Block.
Interacting with more than 150 beneficiaries under SECC 2011 and AWAAS plus of Pradhan Mantri AWAAS Yojna (G), the ACD educated public about the features of PMAY (G) scheme. He directed Block Development Officer, Bhagwah to ensure that the IHHL saturation is attained with PMAY beneficiaries as it is the top most priority of the government under identified deliverables. He also issued directions to the Secretaries of various Panchayats to engage beneficiaries under MGNREGA for providing them wage employment of 95 days as per the guidelines.
The PRIs were also intimated to identify sites for construction or rejuvenation of the large ponds under Mission Amrit Sarovar.
Later, the ACD along with BDO inspected VLW office and panchayat Secretariat in Panchayat Bhagwah lower-B. He also interacted with the staff of different departments available there which included Patwari Halqa Bhagwah, Asha workers, Anganwadi workers and PRIs. The PRIs and the village level staff were directed to hold Panchayat Secretariat regularly as per the calendar issued so that the grievances of the public are redressed at Panchayat Level.
