KTM Jammu launches new-gen version of RC 390 | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 4: KTM JAMMU has finally launched the new-gen version of the RC 390 at KTM Jammu at a price of 3.14 lakh The biggest change on the new 2022 KTM RC 390 over the outgoing model is the design, with the new bike featuring a large LED headlamp placed inside the new front fairing, surrounded by LED DRLs-cum-indicators on either side. The RC 390 also gets a bigger visor, new mirrors, a slightly more sculpted and bigger 13.7-litre fuel tank, new split seats, as well as brand-new sporty-looking alloy wheels. KTM is offering the new RC 390 in two paint schemes, namely KTM Factory Racing Blue and KTM Electronic Orange. The New KTM RC 390 was Launched by Directors KTM Jammu Akshay Mahajan and Mr Sanjeev Mahajan in presence of Various Young Bikes Riders and Bike Vloggers. New KTM RC 390 was also Delivered to the first Customer at the Launch Speaking at the Launch,Director Akshay Mahajan said that this Super sports Bike is the first in the Entire Jammu & Kashmir Region and KTM jammu is committed in providing a Complete range of KTM Pro-Biking Experience for all the Bike Lovers. Mahajan also urged all the Bike enthusiast to follow all the Traffic Rules and always wear Complete Safety gears while Riding their Favorite KTM. KTM claims that the new RC 390 gets a range of 'Grand Prix inspired electronics', including Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC), Quickshifter+, Lean-Angle Sensitive Cornering ABS, and SUPERMOTO mode. Other features include a TFT display with KTM My Ride, power-assisted anti-hopping slipper clutch 2-step height adjustable handlebar, as well as all-LED lighting. Powering the 2022 RC 390 is the same 373 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine as before. This engine puts out 43.5 PS power and 37 Nm torque, and is mated to a 6-speed transmission. KTM says that the torque delivery is improved compared to previous model, thanks to the new, 40% bigger airbox. The 2022 KTM RC 390 is built on a tubular split-trellis frame with a newly engineered bolt-on subframe. The suspension setup on the new motorcycle consists of a 43 mm WP Apex front fork with 120 mm travel, coupled with a 10-step preload adjustable WP Apex monoshock at the back with 150 mm travel. Braking duties are taken care of by BYBRE disc brakes - 320 mm up front and 230 mm at the back, with dual-channel ABS. The new-gen RC 390 has 153 mm of ground clearance and weighs in at 172 kg. The seat is set at a height of 835 mm. |
