JINDRAH, June 4: The NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC), Jindrah initiated three day workshop on the eve of World Environment Day at Nagola in Jindrah.
Prof. Rajshree Dhar, Principal, GDC Jindrah discussed the plan of action for three days and Dr. Deepika Sharma, HOD EVS and Programme Officer, NSS unit of GDC Jindrah supervised the whole event. The NSS volunteers along with staff viz; Dr. Ashok Kumar, Dr. Rajiv Katoch, Poonam Rainu, Convener, NSS, Dr. Deepika Sharma and Dr. Seema visited the Natural spring at Nagola, Jindrah. The volunteers painted large stones with slogans to save natural water bodies of the area and pictures of biodiversity of the area were also clicked for the awareness of the students and locals. The efforts made by the NSS Unit were appreciated by the Principal and she applauded the team for organizing the event. |
