RAJOURI, June 9: To promote and conserve rich Sufi traditions and heritage, District Administration Rajouri is going to organize a Sufi Mushaira/cultural events as a part of Sufi festival on 11th June at Ziarat Sharif and GDC Rajouri.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to discuss and finalize the arrangements for the event.
Officers present in the meeting included ASP, Vivek Shekhar; SDM Thanamandi, Vikas Dhar; Dy CMO, Dr Anees Altaf Nabi; District Culture Officer, Dr Alam Dar; ExEn Jal Shakti Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmed; ExEn PDD Rajouri, Mohd Hasan and other concerned officers.
The DDC highlighted the objective of the Sufi festival and said that the festival aims to celebrate the rich culture and wonderful teachings of Sufism, its practices and Sufi literature and music.
