Kavinder kick starts road project work in Bahu constituency

JAMMU, June 9: Kavinder Gupta, former Dy Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader along Vinay Gupta, BJP District President and Raj Kumar, Chairman Health and Sanitation Committee Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today kick-started road construction work here today. This road project at Jatki Panj Peer in Bahu Constituency is estimated to be completed at a cost Rs. 1.70 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder said that BJP and Central Government headed by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi stand fully committed for the development of Jammu and Kashmir. The unprecedented overall development of J&K witnessed today is the result of this sincere commitment of BJP led Government at the Centre for the progress and prosperity of this sensitive Union Territory and its people, he said, adding that it is the performance of his party and its government on ground especially in terms of development that speaks for itself.
Those who accompanied the former deputy Chief Minister were Ankush Gupta BJP General Secretary; Narinder Koki Secretary, Ghulam Ali Khatana, Noor Alam, Mohd Rafeeq, Danu Sarpanch, Mohd Shareef, Jan Mohd and Liyaqat Ali.
Later, Kavinder Gupta visited Ward No 47 Bahu Fort to take stock of people's problems and issues. During interaction with the people, they highlighted the problems faced by them especially that of drinking water supply in their area.
After giving a keen and patient hearing to the people Kavinder Gupta asked Raj Kumar, Chairman Health and Sanitation Committee JMC to resolve the water crisis in the area on priority basis. Others accompanying the BJP leader in Ward No: 47 included Corporator Sharda Kumari; Rajiv Charak senior BJP leader; Krishan Kumar, Sumit Bajrangi and Vivek Patyal.
Later, the senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta conducted door to door campaign in Ward No 74 Gadigarh and Ward No 73 Bhatindi area as part of the 75 hours public outreach programme in connection with successful completion of 8 years of PM Modi led Union Govt at the Centre.
While making the people aware about the achievements of BJP government, Kavinder said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken utmost care of the common people especially those living in far flung areas through #sevasushasan-aurgareebkalyan programme. He said that the success of BJP Govt led by the PM Modi can be well gauged from the unprecedented achievements made by the nation during the eight years' rule. He said that India today is a force to reckon with at the international level for which credit goes to PM Modi and the people of this nation who have reposed trust and faith in him.
