Medical Employees Federation defers strike following assurance from government | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 9: Director General Health & Family Welfare, MCH and immunization Dr. Saleem Ur Rehman today called on the Medical Employees Federation Jammu and assured that the all the demands of the health employees are genuine and will be settled with in time frame. He also assured to Federation that DPC (promotion) rules will be released by the government within one month positively. Dr. Saleem said that the salary issue of 2211-Head Family Welfare has been resolved and final disbursement will be done within two days. The permanent solution of the salary issue will be taken up with the appropriate authority with in time frame. He said the issues pertaining to pharmacist registration has been cleared by the Administrative Council and have been sent to the Government of India for approval. The Federation on the assurance of Dr. Saleem deferred the strike for one month and said that the strike would be started if the demands are not accepted with in time frame. |
