Jammu, June 16: Department of Computer Applications, GDC R.S. Pura under the aegis of ‘Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (14C) Scheme ‘ and ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ and guidance of the Principal of the college, Prof. Sunil Uppal organized an intra-college online quiz competition on ‘Cyber Security Awareness’. The quiz covered various concepts like Firewall & network protection, Protection against phishing sites, System performance reports, Hardware security, Ransomeware protection, keeping emails safe etc. The quiz was designed to update the knowledge about means of keeping cyber safe and be aware of digital crimes of present era. The students participated in the quiz with great enthusiasm. The quiz was conducted by Dr. Neha Jain, Nodal Officer, Cyber Jaagrookta and Head of Department of Computer Applications and Mr. Amit Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications. |
