| Massive Protest erupts in Akhnoor against encroachment of shop by goons in midnight | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 18: Hundreds of locals gathered at main chowk Sungal Morh Akhnoor to protest against Revenue and Police Authorities whom they alleged to be hand in glove with some goons for encroaching a shop located in Main Market during midnight. Locals of Sungal Morh Market shut their shops to protest in support of Madan Lal a Shopkeeper whose shop was alleged to be encroached during midnight. While talking to media Madan Lal said that dispute was going between him and another party for the shop regarding which matter is already pending in the Honorable Court. He said that he is in possession of the said shop since last 7-8 Years but on Thursday night some goons in midnight broken the locks of shop and looted the goods inside and encroached the shop. He said revenue and police authorities were apprised about the same but they didn't responded timely because of which they were forced to come on roads today. Locals while addressing the media said that due to this incident there is an atmosphere of fear because of which they are on roads. They demanded stern action against the culprits.
