6/18/2022 11:13:04 PM
Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, June 18: Senior Congress Leader and General Secretary JKPCC Th Balwan Singh has said that BJP has betrayed the dogras as it disbanded and downgraded the historical state established by Dogra rulers.
Addressing a Congress workers rally, organised by District Congress committee, Thakur Balwan Singh accused BJP of insulting and betraying the Dogras after getting huge mandate as it divided, disbanded and downgraded the Dogra state, thus depriving the people of Jammu and Kashmir of their identity.
The Dogra rulers established and expanded the boundaries of state up to China, but it was ruthlessly downgraded to UT. J&K state maintained its identity even during British Raj but unfortunately it lost its identity under BJP. The biggest tributes to our Dogra rulers especially Maharaja Gulab Singh ji would have been the restoration of his original state to his people. BJP even failed to grant leave on the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh ji, after getting votes on these emotional issues.
He said people of Jammu region especially the youth should teach a lesson to the BJP during the next elections so that it's learns a lesson of betraying the voters after getting power.
The prominent leaders present in the rally were Ashok Gupta, Ashok Bakshi, Surinder Khajuria, Manav Upahdayaya, Om Parkash, Shri Raj, Majid Hussain, Latif Mohd, Gopal Khajuria, Dawarka Prasher, Dina Nath Bhagat, Govind Ram Khajuria, Rashpal Singh, Sanjeev Dubey, Sansar Singh, Mohan Lal Gupta, Qazi Haleem Khan, Madan Lal, Pawan Kumar Bhagat, Krishan Lal Gazim, Romesh Kumar, Narayan Singh, Vijay Kumar, Sunil Dutt Sharma, Madan Lal Sharma Haleem Khan, Ankush Sharma, Mohd Saleem, Nishant Khajuria, Kartar Nath, Romesh Sharma, Chand, Yash Pal, Sunil Kerni, Vijay Dogra, Rakesh Sharma, Nishant Khajuria, Sandal Singh, Abhay, Thoru Ram, Vijay Kumar, Singh, Shiv Charan and many others.
