JAMMU, June 22: The Citizens Forum has requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi and MOS Jitendra Singh that people of Jammu are unable to know where the expenditure of funds sent by the central government for J&K and its share is spent.
The Forum said that major part of the funds is misused in the name of Jammu Tourism, completion of lingering projects since decades, which are still in same conditions, completion of Tawi lake project, Jammu Smart City, transport System, Jammu city parking project, and Chopra Nursing home and many more.
The Forum said that Rs 15 crores were released for the Nursing Home and there has been no change.
No free medicine is provided in any government hospitals and GMCs. Obsolete equipment and burning of medicine stores is the yearly ritual of health departments, the Forum said. |
