| GDC Banihal Organizes Intra- Mural Chess and Table Tennis Tournament | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 1: Department of Physical Education, Government Degree College Banihal Organizes Intra- Mural Chess and Table Tennis Tournament under the overall supervision of the Principal Dr. Manohar Lal and mentorship of Deepak Kumar, Physical Training Instructor of the College. On 30th of June, 2022, a Chess competition was held in which 12 students of different semesters faced each other and in the nail biting final, Shariq Giri of 5th semester emerged victorious against Tashreefa Jan of 4th semester. On 1ist of July, 2022, an intra-mural table tennis tournament was organized where in 14 students including 6 girls participated out of whom among girls, Raheela Javaid of 6th semester was declared winner in the final against Alveena of 6th semester and among boys, Rashid Ashraf Bohroo of 6th semester emerged winner against Aamir Saleem of 6th semester. The referees in both the tournaments were Prof. Ram Parkash and Dr. Yash Paul Sharma. |
