Early Times Report JAMMU, July 15: NSS Govt. Gandhi Memorial Science College organized an awareness program Skill India under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo and guidance of NSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan celebrating World Youth Skills Day 2022. The highlight being the ongoing focus on the Transforming Education Summit and contribute to the work being done under its Thematic Action Track "Learning and skills for life, work, and sustainable development". The goal is to achieve better socio-economic conditions for today's youth as a means of addressing the challenges of unemployment and under employment. NSS volunteers Anchal Singh, Reetik kapahi, Manyaveer, Himsnshi, Pratima, Sia, Divyansh spoke on the topics Aatmnirbhar Bharat, Skill India and the essence of start ups and entrepreneurship. To celebrate the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work, and entrepreneurship was today's focus. To involve opportunities to provide young people with spaces for dialogue with educational institutions, employers, policymakers, and development partners. The upskilling of the youth has become increasingly important in light of the world slowly shifting to sustainable development, NSS PO highlighted. |
