| All J&K 1947 POJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum demands reservation in J&K assembly | | |

JAMMU, July 21: All J&K 1947 POJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum called an emergency meeting of its core committee members under the Presidentship of Advocate Amrik Singh and joined by Surjit Singh, Secretary of Forum.
The Forum urged the union government and especially union Home Minister Amit Shah to introduce the bill for nomination of at least 10 seats for POJK displaced persons in J&K assembly out of 24 seats kept reserved for PoJK since long. The Forum expressed that it is the matter of regret that for the last 75 years a large section of displaced belong to 1947 are deliberately kept away from their democratic rights which is very much provided in Indian Constitution. |
