JAMMU, July 27: Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region in collaboration with Hotel Radisson Blu Jammu and Govt. Medical College, Hospital, Jammu organized a blood donation camp within their hotel premises to raise social awareness amongst the society. The General Manager of the hotel Mahesh Jasrotia inaugurated the camp and actively participated in the social activity and inspired/ motivated the complete hotel staff for donating blood. The hotel staff in total donated 13 units of blood with the help of Blood Transfusion Department, GMCH, Jammu.
The activity was carried out with the motive to raise awareness for blood donation and send a message to Jammu City to step ahead for such social causes.
The camp was co-ordinated by Mr. Pankaj Singh, Senior HR Executive. The team of Blood Transfusion was headed by Dr. Salvi Sharma. The camp was organized under the able guidance and close supervision of Sh. Sat Pal Sharma, Hony. Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region.
