| IRCS distributes relief material in slum areas | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 29: Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region distributed Relief Material to poor and needy people of slum areas of Maratha Colony, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu through Vidya Kendra who are deprived of basic amenities of life today on the 29th July, 2022. The main objective of the camp is to provide relief in order to feed the under privileged population and provide access to basic facilities to a large number of people especially women and children.
Sat Pal Sharma, Hony. Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region said that the thought behind this distribution was to reach out the beneficiaries who lives in pitiful/ pathetic conditions and facing different crisis in the life should be able to access these facilities and acquire whatever little solace they can. The relief was distributed personally by Sat Pal Sharma with proper planning and execution to the needy/ distress people where he personally made sure that all the genuine beneficiaries should be identified and those who are in actual need of help shall be provided the relief material. The camp was co-ordinated by Smt. Kanchan Sharma, founder of Sangharsh Vidya Kendra. |
