4 arrested, stolen property recovered | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Aug 22: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday claimed to have solved several burglary cases after arresting four accused and recovering stolen property worth in lakhs from their possession in Baramulla district. Police said a case was registered regarding a burglary at Bhat Colony Mirgund Pattan. Three burglars -- Aijaz Ahmad Malla, Syed Ubaid Shah and Zaffar Hussain Wani -- all residents of Yakhmanpora Pattan of Baramulla were arrested. On their disclosure copper utensils, shoes, golden ring and cash were recovered, police said. Another case at Saderbal Palhallan, Pattan in which household items were taken away, was solved with the arrest of Umar Ahmad Khanday. Copper utensils and water pumps were also recovered from the possession of the accused. |
