| Permission for Academic Session 2022-23 granted in favour of GAMC Akhnoor | | |

Akhnoor, Sept 9: Today another milestone has been achieved as National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India has granted Permission in favour of Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College Akhnoor, Academic Session 2022-23. Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College commissioned in the year of 2017 and the first batch of the BAMS was started in makeshift arrangement from Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Indira Chowk Jammu after a lapse of 44 years and there after institution shifted to newly constructed building at Akhnoor on the banks of Chenab River inaugurated by the Hon’ble LG, UT, J&K on 14 th July 2021.
After joining, Worthy Secretary Health and Medical Education Department, higher authorities have given utmost importance to this newly inaugurated institution, hence current year Permission (LoP) has been granted without demand of any type of Undertakings/Indemnity Bond/Affidavit from UT of J&K. |
