Poonch, Sept 9: While the administration has imposed strict restrictions on immersion of idols in all cities, volunteers and a lot of devotees were seen on the roads as part of the final processions in Poonch. After the 10-day-long extravaganza of Ganesh Chaturthi festivities, which commenced in the month of September, comes Anant Chaturdashi or Ganesh Visarjan on today marking the end of the auspicious Hindu festival. Thousands of devotees across Poonch were seen taking one last glimpse of the elephant as the 10-day subdued Ganeshotsav came to an end on Sunday. While the administration has imposed strict restrictions on immersion of idols in all cities, including throughout India, for the second time in a row amid an unrelenting coronavirus pandemic, volunteers and a lot of devotees were found taking to the streets as part of the final processions. Volunteers including D.r jantu .Vickcy Sharma , Papu , Rips, Munna , Rajesh Tandon, Aniket Sharma, Rahul Sharma, Neeraj Sharma, Prince were seen worshipping on the beats of dhols and drums while chanting" Ganpati Bappa Maurya".
